US Salary Tools ("we," "us," "our") operates ussalarytools.com. This policy explains what information is, and is not, collected when you use this site.

Calculator inputs are never sent anywhere

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. The numbers you type — your salary, hourly rate, hours, state, or any other field — are never transmitted to, or stored on, any server we operate. There is no account system and no database. If you close or refresh the page, your inputs are gone.

Cookies & local storage

We use a small amount of browser local storage to remember that you've responded to our cookie banner. We may use cookies for basic, aggregated analytics (for example, to see which pages are popular) and to support advertising (see below). These do not include the numbers you enter into any calculator.

Advertising

This site is free to use and may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, to help cover hosting costs. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more, and opt out of personalized advertising, at Google's Ads Settings.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics services to understand overall traffic patterns (e.g., page views, general geographic region, device type). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.
